How do I add my playlist?

Open IPTV Box and use the "Add playlist" option to paste your M3U / M3U8 URL or import a playlist file from your device. IPTV Box does not include any channels of its own — you must provide your own legally authorized playlist.

Why are there no channels when I open the app?

That's expected. IPTV Box is a player tool, not a content service. It contains no built-in channels, movies, or live TV. Add your own M3U playlist and your channels will appear.

A channel won't play or keeps buffering. What can I do?

Playback depends entirely on the stream source in your playlist. Check that your internet connection is stable, confirm the stream URL still works, and try another channel. If only one channel fails, the issue is most likely with that source rather than the app.

How do I cast to my Smart TV?

Make sure your phone and TV are on the same Wi-Fi network, start playing a stream, then tap the Cast button and choose your TV from the list for HD playback on the big screen.

Casting can't find my TV.

Confirm both devices share the same Wi-Fi network, that your TV's casting feature is enabled, and that IPTV Box has permission to discover devices on the local network. Restarting Wi-Fi on both devices often resolves discovery problems.

Does the app upload my data?

Your playlists, favorites, and history stay on your device — we don't upload or host them. Because IPTV Box is free and ad-supported, it does use advertising and analytics SDKs (Google AdMob, Firebase, Adjust, and the Meta SDK) that process limited device data such as your Advertising ID. How do I see fewer personalized ads?

Where shown, decline consent in the in-app prompt to receive only non-personalized ads. You can also reset or delete your Advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads, or turn on "Opt out of Ads Personalization".

The app keeps getting closed in the background.

Some devices from Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo, and Vivo aggressively close background apps. If casting or playback stops when you switch apps, open your phone's battery settings and whitelist IPTV Box (disable battery optimization for the app).

How do I revoke a permission?

Go to Android Settings → Apps → IPTV Box → Permissions and toggle any permission off. Note that disabling network discovery will prevent casting.

Is the app free? Are there in-app purchases?

IPTV Box is completely free and supported by ads. There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions.
